Artists: Dirty Laundry makes use of illustrations by two India based artists to visualize the poetry of Amitava Kumar that is part of the film's soundtrack.

Mimi Banerjee received her training in fine arts from Bishwa Bharati, Santiniketan in the 1970s. Since then she has been a mother, world traveler and a successful interior designer based in Calcutta, India. In some ways her work for Dirty Laundry is a return to her painting roots. |

Partho Das is a practicing architect from Calcutta, India. Partho combines his interest in buildings with writing for scholarly journals and newspapers, working on his own paintings and creating illustrations for “Sandesh”-a popular vernacular magazine for children in Eastern India. With over three decades of experience in architecture, Das has a large number of national and international accolades to his credit, including Fulbright – Hayes Scholarship by the Govt. of U.S. in 1991 and Honorable Mention in International Housing Design Competition in Shanghai in 1996. Some of Das’s more recent artworks were formally exhibited in The India Habitat Centre in February 2001. |
